Mexican Blue Fan Palm

The Mexican Blue Palm is an extremely slow growing palm. It will grow 20 to 40 feet high and wide but it will take quite a while. The trunk is smooth and gray and gets up to 18 inches wide. The leaves are a striking gray color as well. The Mexican Blue palm is very drought tolerant and likes the sun. It flowers in the spring followed by edible brown fruit. This palm is hardy to 18 degrees F.
