Loquat Christmas

Christmas loquat tree ripens it’s fruit very early in the season most years, therefore escaping most of the hard January and February freezes. The fruit is huge, up to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Bright yellow with a tangy apricot flavor. These are grafted trees and will bear the first year planted. Evergreen broad leafed trees are beautiful in the landscape. Fragrant flowers will scent the garden through fall. Trees are covered with bright yellow fruit. Loquats are truly one of the most outstanding ornamental edible landscaping trees. Zones 8B-10. Grow in containers in northern climates.
