Cuphea Hyssopifolia
Profuse purple flowers on a versatile, compact plant. Tidy plant with finely textured, glossy, bright green leaves. Re-blooms continuously well into fall. Good for edging and seasonal color in beds and borders. Popular container plant for pots and baskets. Semi-evergreen.
Light Needs: This plant can take full sun but we have found that it doesn’t like the direct afternoon sun.
Watering Needs: Once established, needs only occasional watering.
Average Landscape Size: Mexican Heather grows up to 18 inches high and up to 2 feet wide.
