The Mexican Lime is a medium growing upright evergreen citrus tree.
The Mexican Lime has small size fruit with a thin green rind that is not easy to peel. It is great for Arizona because it produces its best flavor in hotter climates.
It is sometimes called the ‘Bartender’s Lime’ because of its use in drinks. The Mexican Lime is very juicy and acidic and can produce fruit all year.
The Mexican Lime is a taller tree with smaller leaves than most citrus. It is also frost sensitive in our cooler winters so small trees need to be
protected in the winter.
